ACGcert - Third-Party Authentication

To provide ultimate confidence, the majority of our items come with professional authentication from ACGcert, the UK's leading autograph authentication experts. Each piece of memorabilia is issued with a tamper-evident hologram sticker featuring a unique serial number and a QR code. This acts as a digtial Certificate of Authentication (COA) and allows you to instantly verify your item against their official database for a lifetime of security.

Certain items won't have a the hologram sticker (e.g. framed items where it is impossible to put the sticker inside the frame. For these we will provide a physical COA letter from ACGcert so that you can verify your item.

Direct Sourcing & Trusted Partnerships

We go the extra mile to ensure the items we sell are legitimate and of the highest quality:

  • Direct Access: The vast majority of our items are obtained direct by the Limelight team. This allows us to witness the signing sessions firsthand, ensuring a direct chain of custody from the star to you.

  • Trusted Partners: Some items are sourced through our select network of long-established and trusted partners. These relationships are built on years of rigorous vetting, ensuring our high standards of integrity are never compromised.

What Your COA Provides

  • Tamper-Proof Hologram: A matching, tamper-proof security hologram is affixed to both the COA and the item itself.

  • Photographic Evidence (Where Available): Wherever possible, we include photographic evidence of the athlete signing the item to further cement its provenance.

Our Third-Party Guarantee

We are so confident in our sourcing and verification methods that we provide a complete assurance:

  • Every single item purchased from Limelight Memorabilia is guaranteed to pass any respected third-party authentication service.

  • If an item has already been authenticated by a major third-party company (such as PSA/DNA, JSA, or Beckett), we will provide that third-party COA along with our own Limelight COA.
